We would like to draw your attention to  more recent research on the bilingual brain. Check out last week's BBC Radio 4 program "All In The Mind". It says how being bilinguial can create, what has been called, a "cognitive reserve". It is a novel piece of research, which indicates that being bilingual has the ability to prevent against the long term, cognitive imparement effects of a Stroke. It backs up an earlier piece of research we did with Ken Millins, about the bilingial brain you can check out his interview here, and you can find the BBC podcast below!
