PART ONE – One-Day Event

Date: Friday 12th December 2008, 10am-4pmVenue: Connaught Hall, London WC1

The day’s programme will be dedicated to

    • Exploring progression in language
    • Effective questioning
    • Quality writing from Foundation to Year 6
    • Concentrating on classroom experience and resources

Comprising presentations and an intensive workshop, all teacher participants are invited to contribute and share their ideas and resources. Participants are expected to prepare for the working day to make the best use of this opportunity.

PART TWO – Follow-Up Workshop

Date: by mutual agreement at Participants’ convenienceVenue: local to participants

Following on from the experiences of the One-Day Event, participants will be invited to attend a follow-up workshop designed to

    • Respond to questions raised at the Event
    • Examine the experience of putting presented techniques into practice
    • Build on the knowledge shared at the One-Day Event
